Last night saw season 4 of MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” premiere and for one person, competing on the show means a lot. According to nydailynews.com, 19-year old Kenny “B-Boy Special Ed” Bermudez will be competing in the competition, with his dance crew Rhythm City.
Kenny says he was brought up around gang violence and he could have gone down the same route, but he chose dance instead. And now, that choice has done well for him, as him and his dance crew will be one of two New York City crews, showing off their moves on the MTV show.

The show apparently starts out with nine crews, but each week one crew is eliminated, going by the viewers votes. And in the final week, the winners are crowned by the show’s producer Randy Jackson, who is also a judge on the popular Fox reality show “American Idol.”
