Britney Spears gets Teen Choice lifetime achievement award

Singer Britney Spears has received many awards throughout her career, but maybe none as great as the award she received yesterday at the Teen Choice Awards. According to dailymail.co.uk, Britney was rewarded with the Teen Choice Lifetime Achievement Award at yesterday’s ceremony.

When Britney first came onto the scene about ten years ago, she was the toast of every award ceremony, as the newest and sassiest pop singer in the charts. Her youthful looks and apparent innocence made her an international star and she was even classed as a role model for young women.

But since then, her personal life has been racked with problems and she has been in the media quite a lot, for many different reasons. The latest award is seen as a stamp of approval by her fans, for coming through all her personal crises and giving them such great music.
