Former American Football player Cris Collinsowrth, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals for eight seasons, will be sitting next to broadcaster Al Michaels for the season launch of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” which is said to be one of the most-watched sports shows in the world.
According to latimes.com, Collinsworth is taking over from the legendary John Madden as broadcaster. And the game in which sees Collinsworth make his debut, is the Hall of Fame game from Ohio, which apparently sees Buffalo versus Tennessee.

Some fans may see this more as a Collinsworth, who admits he is a huge John Madden fan, versus Madden thing instead. Alhtough Cris is taking over from a true legend, he has his own style and he is a star himself, so many are saying that he’ll do really well.
