Last night saw the baseball match between The Yankees and the Boston Red Sox and according to newsday.com, the Yankees apparently completed a four-game sweep of the Red Sox, with a 5-2 victory that was in front of a crowd of around 48,190.
The Yankees were trailing behind slightly until Alex Rodriguez got them on board in the seventh against Red Sox player Jon Lester, after torpedoing his 1-and-1 pitch deep to the left-center to make it 1-0. That made it Rodriguez’s 21st home run.

Johnny Damon seemed to re-energize the stadium, by homering to right-center to tie. Then Mark Teixeira followed, with a shot into the second deck in right, to make it 3-2. And Pettite’s sixth inning was impressive, as he struck out Red Sox player Kevin Youkilis.
