Guitar Legend Les Paul: Dies At 94

Guitar legend Les Paul died at the age of 94 on Wednesday August 12th. According to rollingstone.com, the cause of his death was confirmed as respiratory failure, after he had been suffering from severe pneumonia.
Paul, who was an inductee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy Hall of Fame, can also be credited for being the inventor of the electric body guitar and the pioneer of recording techniques such as electronic echo and multi-tracking.
Les also had a great career as a solo artist as well as with singer Mary Ford, who was also his wife until 1964. His influence on some of today’s guitar greats is undeniable. Slash from Guns N’ Roses has even paid tribute to legend Paul.
He will be greatly missed by many.
