There was a shocking end to the 2009 PGA Championship on Sunday, when instead of the world’s number 1 Tiger Woods winning, it was in fact South Korea’s YE Yang that took victory at the 91st championship, that took place at Hazeltine National.
According to yahoo.com, the 37-year old golfer started off his final round, two shots adrift of Woods. But a two-under-par 70, was enough to give YE Yang a three-shot victory and helped him to become the first Asian player to win a Major championship.

Yang appeared to give a nerveless performance and reportedly held a narrow one-shot lead over Tiger at the 72nd hole. It was most certainly a very frustrating final for the world’s number 1 Tiger and one that left the American disappointed.
