The upcoming James Cameron movie “Avatar,” is not due to hit the big screens until December 18th, but according to indystar.com, this Friday is set to be “Avatar Day,” which is the promotional label that was given by 20th Century Fox.
It will be the first big promotional push for the new sci-fi movie, which was written and directed by Cameron and stars Sigourney Weaver and Sam Worthington. Tickets for the “Avatar Day,” will be available on the “Avatar” Website soon.
A trailer for the movie will be available in multiple formats, including 2D and IMAX / Digital 3D. On top of that, there will be a lengthy 3D-only preview that is hosted by director James Cameron and will be available for that day only.
