David Cross to perform Stand Up at Congress Theatre

A recent announcement has revealed that actor and comedian David Cross, who has been in numerous movies such as “Men in Black,” “She’s the Man” and “Kung Fu Panda,” is to appear at the Congress Theatre on October 4th, to do a stand-up routine.

According to chicago.decider.com, not much information has been given at this time, although we know that tickets for the event will go on sale at Ticketmaster this Friday. David has also starred in many TV shows and even been in some music videos.

People are being advised to plan for that October weekend carefully, as it is quite a big weekend for alt-comedy. Patton Oswalt is said to be at the Congress on October 2nd, the same night that Mary Lynn Rajskub is said to be appearing at the Lakeshore Theatre.

    I’ve been looking for something different to do for the next corporate event and have been thinking about doing a comedy night. I think our boss wanted to hire a comedian but it would be much easier to just book a show. We were hoping to do something in October so this would be ideal.
