Today sees the start of the npower Fifth Test in the 2009 Ashes Series and according to thesun.co.uk, these will be the last games for Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff, as he has announced recently, that he will be retiring from Test Cricket after the Ashes.
Skipper Andrew Strauss is backing Freddie and says that the script has already been written, for Flintoff to deliver another epic show in his farewell Test. England are now taking on the Aussies in the Fifth Test, that is taking place at the Brit Oval.

Strauss said that the thought of Flintoff charging in and knocking over some Aussie wickets is exciting. He thinks that Freddie will want to go out on a high. Although Australia’s Captain Ricky Ponting, is saying that the sense of expectation from Fred could backfire.
