Singer Kelly Clarkson, who won the very first season of “American Idol” back in 2002, has admitted to being a long-time fan of the “Twilight” series. And reports have suggested that she may also be under consideration, to record a song for the upcoming “New Moon” soundtrack.

And according to mtv.com, Kelly took her love for “Twilight” to the stage of her Illinois concert last weekend, when she apparently brought out a cardboard cutout of star Robert Pattinson and proceeded to serenade it, whilst reportedly singing the song “I Want You.”

Clarkson then addressed the crowd, telling them that she finds the character Edward cute. The cutout was said to have the words “You Want Me?” wrote across its chest. Kelly has previously blogged about her love for the books, saying that she is a nerd about “Twilight.”
