This Saturday 22nd August, sees the return of “The X-Factor” and the reality TV show is now into its sixth season. And according to thesun.co.uk, “The X-Factor” creator Simon Cowell, who is also a judge on the show, recently admitted that he nearly quit the show two years ago.
Simon claims that it was in fact singer Leona Lewis that changed his mind. He says he had second thoughts, because producing the show and judging, was a lot to juggle. But Leona reminded him why he does it and he says that she is the reason he signed on for another two years.

The 49-year old star admits that some of the winners, such as Shayne Ward and Steve Brookstein, didn’t light up the charts and says that you can’t get it right every time. Although he does have high hopes for last year’s winner Alexandra Burke, who sang alongside Beyonce in the final.
