The 2009 ATP Cincinnati Masters tournament is currently underway and it looks like it is good news for the world’s number 1 Roger Federer, as well as for Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal. According to google.com, all three have advanced to the third round.
Federer, who is now trying to capture his sixth consecutive US Open crown and third Grand Slam in a row, advanced after defeating Argentina’s Jose Acasuso 6-3 and 7-5 and will now go on to face Spain’s 19th-ranked David Ferrer in the US Open series.

Britain’s Andy Murray, who is world’s number 2, went through to the next round after defeating Spain’s Nicolas Almagro. The 20-minute rain delay didn’t stop Murray winning and he will now go on to face 16th seed Radek Stepanek.
Rafael Nadal didn’t let the lengthy shower stop his momentum and he advanced to the next round, after a victory over Italy’s Andrea Seppi. And unfortunately for Andy Roddick, he was ousted from the game after American Sam Querrey won the match.
