Usain Bolt 200m 19.19 Video: New World Record

When we watched Usain Bolt at the 2009 Beijing Olympics, we knew that we were watching someone very special. The sprinter has now proved himself again by running the 200m in 19.19 seconds at the IAAF World Track and Field Championships. By doing so, he has now set his second new world record at the games. Watch the video below

To explain just how fast “the Lightning Bolt” is, he has taken 11-hundredths of a second of the previous record, this stood at 19.30 second, a record that he had set at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Usain Bolt is in fine form as he smashed the 100M world record early on in the week, according to RightFielders.

Usain Bolt who took gold at the event beat Alonso Edward, who came in second and Wallace Spearmon, who came in third. Usain Bolt who has just turned 23 today seems unstoppable at this moment in time; we have to wonder how long he will remain the man to beat.

We recently reported that Bolt was worried about his previous performances, as he was still feeling burned out from his impressive form at last year’s Beijing Olympics.
