Now that Brett Favre has signed a two-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, they are doing everything to ensure he doesn’t burn out his arm unnecessarily. According to startribune.com, the Vikings coach Brad Childress, is going to have an interesting job, preparing Brett for the season.
Childress obviously wants the quarterback to develop some chemistry with his new receivers, by getting the necessary reps, but he also knows, that he does have to be careful with how much throwing Favre does in practice and claims he is monitoring the situation.
Brett retired back in 2008, after he was bothered by a biceps tendon injury, but he recently came out of retirement, to sign with the Vikings, who are now being extra careful. Brett reportedly admitted last week, that he also has a tear in the rotator cuff of his passing arm.
