Miss Universe 2009 Top 15: Pamela Bianca Manalo didn’t make it

As we mentioned earlier today, yesterday saw the 2009 Miss Universe take place in the Bahamas, which saw the top 15 finalists battling it out for the highly-coveted crown. And the winner was announced and crowned by last year’s Miss Universe, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela.

But according to gmanews.tv, the Philippine’s bet Pamela Bianca Manalo, unfortunately didn’t quite make it to the top 15 finalists for the 2009 Miss Universe beauty pageant. Apparently, the Philippines last won a Miss Universe title back in 1973 with Margie Moran.

The Philippines were hoping that Manalo would be the one to take home the title at the prestigious event. The 2009 Miss Universe judges included actor Dean Cain and supermodel Valeria Mazza. The event also included guest performances from Kelly Rowland and Flo Rida.
