We have spoken a number of times about Sony and its viral marketing for the upcoming 2012 movie. The IHC (Institute for Human Continuity) which has been set up in preparation for the end of the world are now looking for a new leader of the Post-2012 World, and are now holding an election for a new leader.
The IHC states that the new leader could be anyone; this means me, you or someone you know down the street. When you sign up to register as a candidate to become the new leader after 2012, you will automatically be entered in to a free prize draw.

The grand prize is a trip to the Mayan Ruins in Cancun. The 12 candidates chosen to go forward to the main elections will each win a PlayStation 3 and a Sony Webbie HD Camera.
All entries have to be in by 5.59 on September 8, 2009. There are three phases to the Post-2012 World and Election:
- Phase 1: All applicants will have to try to get the highest score in a series of games all designed to test their leader skills.
- Phase 2: Up to 12 top scoring candidates will be asked to submit their photos, video and their slogan.
- Phase 3: The candidates will try to gain the most votes in the election; this will end on November 3, 2009.
