Are you enjoying the Little League World Series so far this year? The semi-finals kicked off yesterday over in South Williamsport, PA between Chiba City, Japan (2-1) competing against Reynosa, Mexico (3-0).
As Examiner reports, Mexico were the ones who were providing all the excitement as they were first on the score board with Raul Rojas hitting a 2 run home run to start things off.
Raymundo Berrones was the next to score as his base hit brought in another run, followed by Allan Willburn, who hit a 2 run double to put Mexico in a commanding position with a score of 0-5 at the end of the first inning.
In the second innings, Mexico managed to increase that to 0-6 with with another run. It appeared as if Japan had no reply to what was happening, as the final score finished 0-6 and as a result – eliminated Japan out of this year’s championship.
