DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) Found Dead

Reports from washingtonpost.com have just revealed that 36-year old DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, was found dead in a Manhattan apartment yesterday. His death has come nearly a year after he survived a small plane crash that killed four other people.

Adam, who has played at many private parties for celebrities including Jim Carey, Ben Stiller, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Hudson, was found dead in the apartment late Friday. A police source said that investigators are looking into the possibility of a drug overdose.

DJ AM, as he was more commonly known, was also known for his relationships with Nicole Richie, who he was once engaged to briefly and Mandy Moore. He will be greatly missed by many and our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and his family.
