US Open TV Schedule Update: August 31 – September 13

The 2009 US Open Tennis Tournament started today and many tennis fans will be gathering at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center, to catch the court action. But for those who are unfortunate enough to not be going, they can still catch up on the action.

According to washingtontimes.com, ESPN has the rights to the US Open this year, as well as CBS and The Tennis Channel. So fans will have enough coverage as to not miss their favorite players on court. The Tennis Channel will also show replays.

From Monday 31st August until Friday, September 4th, the Tennis Channel will have coverage from 11am to 7pm; ESPN 2 will have coverage from 1pm to 6pm and then 7pm until the end of play. Coverage will then carry on from Saturday September 5th to Monday September 7th.
