Midge Ure respects Noel Gallagher for Oasis split

Ultravox singer Midge Ure has apparently spoken up recently, about the recent Oasis split. And according to dailyrecord.co.uk, Midge says that he respects Noel Gallagher’s decision to walk away from the band and his brother Liam Gallagher.

The singer, who played at Retrofest this weekend, has also said that Noel’s decision was admirable and says that he respects Noel for being big enough to stand up for himself and say enough is enough. Midge also believes that they will reform in a few years.

Midge also believes that Noel had been wrestling with the decision for years and says that you can’t go on stage with someone pressing all your buttons all the time. He then went on to say that the news maybe wasn’t that surprising, but I don’t think fans would agree.
