It has been revealed that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre could face a fine by the NFL, following his illegal block during a preseason fixture on Monday night.
As reported from Washington Post, the quarterback performed a crack-back block on the Houston Texans’ Eugene Wilson, who was not heading towards the ball when the incident occured.
After the game, Wilson was reported to have approached Favre, stating: “What was up with that? Seriously, what was up with that?”
Favre himself has indicated that he didn’t intend to hurt Wilson, but the officials may not see it like that after watching footage back.
