Whitney Houston In Central Park: Cracks in her voice

Did you manage to see Whitney Houston in Central Park today? It was the singer’s first public gig in years and she performed some of her classic hits to a huge audience.

According to NYDailyNews, the gig was free to the public, but fans still had to queue for the event, which took quite some time as you imagine. Houston performed four tracks during the gig, which included the classic ‘My Love is your Love’, as well as a new track titled ”Million Dollar Bill.”

It has to be said that while her voice wasn’t no where near as good as it used to be, it was still a good performance and the crowd seemed to be loving her presence.

    First of all she’s clean and trying to live a good life now. 2nd why doesn’t the media bash all the Britney’s, Rihanna’s and Mileys of the world for Lip syncing every performance. The woman is human and been through hell and back. I’m impressed even though she didn’t sound that great she had the balls to sing live. I’ve seen some of the other videos floating around (aside from the I’m Every Woman that seems to appear on most blogs since it’s the worst vocally) and she sounds halfway decent.     She looked much better than I thought she would considering all she has done to her body.

    She is an integral part of all of our lives and I love her for the gifts she has given us.

    She maybe talented but she’s still a a-hole. She needs to remember she is just a performer and denying her drug addiction, ‘ crack is whack’ only makes her look more stupid. I am looking foward to hearing her album though.
