Jason David Frank: MMA fighter

It appears that actor Jason David Frank, who may be known for playing the Green Ranger in the hit series “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” has decided to change his career. According to sportsillustrated.cnn.com, Jason has made his official move to Mixed Martial Arts.

And apparently, he is training with UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard and is hoping that his real fighting experience is as successful as his career on television. Jason was said to have signed with Suckerpunch Entertainment recently and hopes to make a professional debut very soon.

Frank, who has done martial arts before, says that he was supposed to fight back in 2007, but it fell through. He also says that he just wants to go out there and prove that he is a real fighter. Does this mean that we could see Jason David Frank in UFC sometime in the future?

    That would be good to see. I think that more of the former PR cast need to get into stuff like that. I mean, he’s not the only Martial Artist from the show. He is very good, though. I so hope to at least be able to watch some vids of him doing MMA online.

    lol red ranger, the origional cast all knew martial arts… but only a few have kept on training.
    nowadays the casts dont know any so it would fail miserably
