Jay-Z has spoken out on his much talked about ‘quickie’ wedding with Beyonce. He has admitted that he may of ‘offended’ some people in the process, but at the same time, feels that ‘the people who love you understand’.
As reported by People, Jay-z was quizzed by chat show queen Oprah Winfrey and was asked why the celebrity couple had a secret wedding. Jay-Z’s response was ‘Late Planning!’, as he explained:
“The sad part is that we offended some. But, people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it’s your day.”
The successful Rapper has been hitting all the headlines lately, due to the fact that his highly anticipated next studio album, ‘The Blueprint 3′ is due out in retail stores on September 11th.
Personally, we don’t see a problem with the couple preferring to have a small and secretive wedding. I mean, who would want all the media surrounding you on your big day? We want your thoughts on this.
