Michael Jackson O2 Tickets: Where are they?

Are you one of the millions of fans who have chosen to receive a special limited edition Michael Jackson ticket from his planned O2 gigs? It has been a few months now since fans had this choice, but there has been no word at all from either AEG or ticket companies.

I am writing this article as I believe there should be a meeting place where fans can share any information they might or might not have received in regards to the concert tickets.

The deal in place, was that fans could either choose for a full refund for the tickets, or receive the actual tickets printed with the special lenticular process, according to the official website.

Well the website has now been updated, stating the following message: UPDATE: Ability to receive actual tickets expired at 23:59 GMT, August 14, 2009.

Speaking personally, I haven’t heard any feedback regarding the tickets from either Ticketmaster or AEG. If you have anything to share on this issue, please reply below with a comment.

    Same here! Not heard anything! I have been to some fan’s blogs and only ONE fan confirmed he has received it. I asked him when and how he did manage it but he has not reply to me!

    hi, i also chose a actual ticket. i’ve been checking ticketmaster/michaeljacksonlive.com everyday. there is NOT ANY information updated.

    i hope any company who runs this operation could come up with this issue asap.

    this is rediculous that NOT ANY INFORMATION AT ALL.

    it’s a huge amount of money in this case. AEG or other companies related should solve this properly!

    still waiting for 2 “keeps-sake” tickets

    I was due to see MJ on the 1st of Sept with my family..I bought tickets requested a refund for two( which I have recieved) but NO NEWS at all about the tickets

    I agree, I find it very odd that the organisers have not given any indication whatsoever in when customers will receive their tickets.

    Well, in this situation we all ”the tickets holders should take a legal action for refunds’ while the organiser aren’t responsing to fans of MJ.

    I filled out the info required to get the tickets and like all of you I have not heard a single thing. You would have expected a confirmation e-mail but there has been nothing. I like all of you am getting really pissed off and just want my tickets. We were stolen of the chance to see the greatest of all time Michael Jackson atleast give us our tickets!!

    Hi,
    Was just browsing to find out about my ticket.
    Cant find any info either,i opted to keep 1 ticket for myself and have recieved refund for other 3 at least 4wks ago.Friend of mine who opted to recieve full refund hasnt had anything back yet and he applied way before me.
    Concidering the deadline was 14th August i’m not really suprised i havent recieved it yet as tonnes of people must have opted for tickets and they wouldn’t have known until that date how many to get printed!
    They should really be telling us about it though a little advertisement on ticket website for example THEY must have an approximate date of issue at the very least.
    Lets remember they are doing this for money we are gagging for the tickets because we love the guy and cant wait for something to fill the gap of us missing the chance to see him on stage.. :0)

    I asked for 2 tickets and 1 refund. Got the refund back well over a month ago but no sign of the tickets. I emailed Ticketmaster last week asking for an update. They say that they reply to all queries within 24 hours, but I’ve had nothing back from them.

    I tried to email Ticketmaster but you cannot send them an email on their website and there is no general customer service telephone number. Their attitude to their customers is disgusting.

    i am also still waiting for tickets was getting worried so i telephoned ticketaster and they havnt even decided when the dispatch date is i think its all a farse they should give us our money back and still give us a ticket for waiting so long. its DISGUSTING

    What a joke. Ticketmaster told me that the tickets should be sent out by the end of August. I said is this guaranteed and the lady told me that it was out of their hands as it was being delt with by AEG. I asked for a contact number but she didn’t have one. I’m sure if I owed AEG money or goods they would be knocking on my door quick enough. Multi-million pound company, more like a multi million pound con, where are my Tickets.

    well, i got an email from ticketmaster in Sept 12. they are on the process of sending tickets out. i also called ticketmaster customer service and confirm it. the guy said i could get the fedex express shortly. i think i could get the ticket end of this month.

    i got my refund but not the one ticket i kept as souvenir…i contacted viagogo (where bought them) and they said they will start sending them soon….i dont know why its such a problem seriously

    Haven’t heard anything concrete about the tickets either. I bought mine through Viagogo. I opted to get the refund on the overhead I paid (because it was through Viagogo) and keep my souviner tickets. I receive the refund over a month ago. I check Viagogo’s website and there was a message saying the tickets should by shipped by mid-September. It is Sept. 29th now and still nothing. What is with that?

    And how and why did they give away commemorative tickets to those who attended the This is It sneak preview showing in L.A. I think that was very foul on AEG’s part. When decided to keep my tickets, I was under the impression that these tickets would be limited and rare. Something special that those of us who actually intended to attend the concerts would have exclusively. And then I hear they’re just giving them away. A load of Bull!

    Still waiting for mine from Ticketmaster – it’s October 9th!! Was told last month they were being dispatched. I know Royal Mail have had some strikes but this is ridiculous.

    Its October 25th, still no sign here at my house in the Netherlands of the tickets.
    Refund was given a while ago for other tickets we’d ordered.
    Anyone else still waiting or does everyone here have theirs by now?

    I’m from the Netherlands too and am also still waiting for my ticket. I hope it will arrive soon. :( Also received the refund for the other ticket a while ago.

    I eventually received an email from Ticketmaster on Tuesday saying my souvenir ticket was on its way and gave me a tracking number for royal mail. Called royal mail on Thursday to find out where it is and was told they have never received it from ticketmaster. Called them to complain and was told they would investigate. Called 3 times since and still not found where my ticket is. Their email says “under no circumstances would a replacement ticket be issued”. They had better find it for me. I have waited 5 months to be told it is missing!!!

    I am still waiting for 2 souvenir tickets for Aug 28th show. I am FUMING with Ticketmaster. All i ever get are rude repetitive call centre staff saying “There’s nothing we can do we’re still waiting for AEG to despatch tickets”…i even got a message the other day saying that Ticketmaster had received my tickets..but then they had to send them back to AEG to replace as they were damaged (!) WTF!!!!! I am gonna get on to Watchdog soon it’s gone on toooooooooo long. Come on let’s all gang up on them.

    still waiting for mine as at 24th November just got through the loophole system on ticketmaster and spoke to a real live person guess what my tickets for 22nd of February were damaged funny that is the same comment i read from a perivious blogger who had tickets for August!i hope they arrive for xmas as they are preasents funny how the t shirt’s i brought from them arrived in just a day or two!

    Has anyone noticed that they keep changing the (as of today…) date every day at the “Michael Jackson Souvenir Tickets- Dispatch Update” at ticketmaster… somethings fishy if you ask me!

    I ordered 4 Tickets for the 10th August and after Michael Jacksons death i requested a refund for 3 tickets a 1 Commemorative ticket. I received the refund exactly 21 days after my request but as of today 3rd December i have still not got my ticket. Yet again Ticketmaster have updated their website stating “As of today, 3rd December, souvenir ticket dispatch is ongoing. If you have not received your souvenir tickets yet, you can expect to do so over the next couple of weeks or so.” That has been the same message since september.

    Just wondering if there is any one out there that has received their souvenior tickets? Ticketmaster makes its so difficult to reach anyone and when I emailed them I got an automated response saying that the majority of tickets have been dispatched. This is ridicolous the amount of time they are taking to dispatch these. I am extremly upset!!!!!

    Have today been onto ticketline to ask when I can expect delivery of tickets (2 separate orders!!). Have been told that there are NO MORE TICKETS available!!!! Was told about the faulty/damaged ones which were sent back and now apparently AEG have said they are not producing anymore – does anyone have any advise? I am sure I am not the only one in this predicament.
