He may be known for his competitive attitude when playing for the New York Yankees, but Nick Swisher has been seen in a different light recently, as he signs on as an Entertainment Industry Foundation Ambassador for Lee National Denim Day.
As reported from eMediaWire, Lee National Demin Day is one of the biggest single-day fundraisers for breast cancer in the U.S. It will take place on October 2nd, this year.

Nick Swisher has been asking people around the country to wear jeans and donate $5 on behalf of the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).
It is obviously an issue close to his heart, as he lost his Grandmother to cancer in 2005 and since then, has become a keen supporter of the charities ever since.
Nick stated: “My grandmother was one of the most important people in my life and this is a way for me to not only honor her memory but hopefully help other families who are going through the same struggle.”
Are you planning to donate and wear your jeans this year? Let us know what you plan to do on October 2nd. More details through the link.
