Berry Gordy at Michael Jackson Funeral

Motown founder and Michael Jackson’s close friend Berry Gordy, was one of the mourners that attended the King of Pop’s funeral yesterday, which took place at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. And according to etonline.com, he was seen sitting with music producer Suzanne de Passe.

After Michael Jackson’s shocking and untimely death back in June, Berry Gordy spoke up about his close friend, saying that the performer was just like a son to him. He also added that he had no concerns about Michael’s ability to go to the top, as he had warmth, sensitivity and two personalities.

The music producer joined the Jackson family and many of the star’s famous friends, at Thursday’s private service. Gordy said “Michael was and will remain one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived.” And I think that I can speak for a lot of people, when I say that I totally agree.
