Former Destiny’s Child singer Beyonce Knowles is celebrating her 28th birthday today and with every year, she seems to get better and better and becomes an even bigger star. After scoring a load of hits with Destiny’s Child, she decided to break out on her own in 2003.
Her debut solo album was “Dangerously in Love” and it was a huge hit amongst her fans. With the debut album, came the massive hit single “Crazy in Love.” From then on, she has had 4 chart-topping singles, 3 multi-platinum albums and endless amounts of awards.
And according to mtv.com, Beyonce has also managed to be a part of some of the best and most memorable music videos of the millennium. She is leading the way with 9 nominations, at this year’s MTV Music Video Awards, which take place next Sunday.
