LeGarrette Blount and worst possible scenario for Oregon

Yesterday’s college football season’s opening game, at Boise State, had to be the worst possible scenario for the Oregon Ducks team. And it wasn’t just in one way either, it was in every way. According to rivals.yahoo.com, the Ducks offense seemed ineffective and lethargic.

It was a bit of a deflating loss to the team that could possibly send the entire season off track. And it appeared that no Duck was more disappointed in their loss, than LeGarrette Blount, who has already returned from one suspension so far this year.

LeGarrette Blount and worst possible scenario for Oregon

Blount apparently finished with -5 yards, on eight carries and was then dropped in the end zone for a safety in the second quarter. And it seemed like he had quite the reaction, when he hit one of the opposite team, took a swipe at one of his teammates and had to be restrained.

There is no doubt that Blount will be suspended from the game, for the foreseeable future, and maybe for the rest of his senior season. He may even be looking at assault charges, if Boise State and local authorities decide to take the matter any further.
