Obama’s Speech to Kids: Too long or just right?

As most of you will be aware, President Obama has just given his speech to children around the world, who are heading back to school and college shortly. It was quite a lengthy speech, with lots of areas adressed. The question is though: Do you think his speech was just a bit too long, or was it justified?

Obama’s Speech to Kids: Too long or just right?

Within his speech, the President talked about the factors that some children could be facing up to, either starting or heading back for the new school year. He gave the world his personal experiences as a kid going to school, how even for himself, it was a struggle for him to gain the same education as everyone else, due to financial hardships for his parents.

Then, he went on to talk about his expectations for the school year and how everyone should have their very own target and goals to achieve.

One particular line that stood out from the speech reads: ”Don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.”

You might of hit the nail on the head with that statement, Mr President. If you are yet to read the whole speech, you can do so here.

Let us know what your thoughts on it are, and if you think it was a good speech or not.
