Melrose Place 2009 Premiere: Recap and Cast

The new 2009 series “Melrose Place” premiered last night and it appears that the pilot episode, certainly started off with a bang. According to popwatch.ew.com, there was a dead body found in the pool in last night’s episode. And that was only 7 minutes into the show.

A couple of the original cast from the 1990’s apparently returned in last night’s episode. One being Laura Leighton as Sydney Andrews and the other being Thomas Calabro, who played Sydney’s old flame/ex-brother-in-law Michael Mancini.

In the first episode, Sydney lured David over for drinks one night and told him that she had done something bad. But then, it turned out that she was the body in the pool. So viewers may have to find out what she had done, through a flashback of some sort.

And as you can imagine, David, who happens to be Michael Mancini’s son, was the first to be questioned by police. In another part of the episode, med student Lauren’s dad loses his job, so she has to come up with her tuition fees somehow.
