Prince Fielder’s Home Run: Celebration Overkill

There seemed to be quite a celebration on Sunday, after Prince Fielder scored his game winning home run. According to mvn.com, Fielder was seen jumping into the crowd of players, exploding like a bomb. And his teammates all fell to the ground.

This is more of a celebration that is commonly known in football, not baseball. Some fans say that there shouldn’t be anything like that in baseball, as there seems to be a level of respect in the game. That level of respect is not necessarily present in NFL or NBA.

It wasn’t that long ago, that Prince Fielder was caught on tape, charging the other team’s clubhouse, because he got thrown at. There have been mixed reactions to this behaviour. Some say that there was nothing wrong with it, whilst others say it was a little over the top.
