Glee on Fox: Season Premiere Surprises

Last night saw the official premiere of “Glee” and it may have surprised a few viewers. According to zap2it.com, after a preview of the “Glee” pilot episode made an appearance last spring, some people were waiting for its return.

And it appears that it picked up where it left off, with one football player and five high school misfits, trying to make the glee club into something better. In last night’s episode, Will booked the kids to perform “Le Freak,” at school assembly.

But instead of performing that, they stage a coup and perform a highly sexualized “Push It” instead. And although it gets them into hot water, it still manages to attract some new recruits to the glee club, but not for the singing.

Finn’s cheerleader girlfriend signs up, along with two of her friends. But the only reason they join, is to keep tabs on Finn and Rachel, who appears to still be hopelessly devoted to Finn. And it looks like they shared a kiss.
