We have some exciting news for fans of Pirates of the Caribbean now, as the title for the fourth film has just been revealed. The movie is scheduled to release next summer and will once again see Johnny Depp reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
As reported from MTV, the title for the new fourth film will be ”Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides”. Johnny Depp, dressed in his Captain Sparrow outfit, announced the new title himself at Disney’s D23 Expo convention.

On Stranger Tides will be released sometime in May next year, with Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio resuming their writing duties under producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
At the moment, it is unknown which other cast members will be joining Depp for the new film, as Keira Knightley has already stated she doesn’t want to continue in her role as Elizabeth Swann.
Still though, theres plenty of time for announcements to happen, so no need to start worrying just yet. Let us know what you think of the new title.
We can’t wait for this one.
