Oscar De La Hoya on Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Juan Manuel Marquez

The highly anticipated fight, between Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is less than a week away now and according to reports from sportinglife.com, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya has given his opinion on the fight.

And it appears that he has tipped Juan Manuel Marquez as the winner. De La Hoya seems to believe that Marquez’s superior jab, will take Mayweather Jr. by surprise. Oscar lost to Mayweather back in 2007, in the highest-grossing fight in history.

De La Hoya says that he has the feeling that Marquez is going to pull this one off. He also claims he went to watch Marquez train, and says that he has seen how much strength he has gained. But he still classes Mayweather as an excellent boxer.
