Kanye West ruins Taylor Swift’s MTV VMA victory

Thousands of people watched last night, as Kanye West got up on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. But according to latimes.com, it really shouldn’t have shocked anyone.

After all, West has got a history of throwing his very own award show tantrums. Back in 2004 Kayne was left furious, after he lost Best New Artist, at the American Music Awards. And he did something similar at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards.

And then last night, it seemed as though he couldn’t help himself. Taylor was up on stage accepting her award for Best Female Video, when Kanye West interrupted, by claiming that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

    If Kayne West’s performance on American Idol was as a contestant and not guest he would have laughed off the stage by the judges. Compared to the contestants he SUCKED and should have been ashamed of that NO TALENT performance. He is a no talent parasite just feeding off someone with real talent to keep his face in the news.

    Since when is it ok to prevent someone from speaking? Ms. Swift right to express herself was violated by Mr. West actions. The right to freedom of speach covers this situation. Mr. west violated Ms. Swift’s right to speak and as such should be prosecuted. At the very least he should be charged with harrasment. This would be the case for any other average american who does not have millions in the back nor a public persona.
