Michael Jackson This Is It: Release date for movie

Michael Jackson fans had a very special treat at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, as we have already mentioned. They premiered a trailer for the upcoming “This Is It” movie, which is said to feature rehearsal footage of the late singer.

And according to reports from telegraph.co.uk, the worldwide release date for “This Is It,” is said to be on the 30th October. Sony Pictures were said to have paid £35 million for the film, which takes its name from the series of comeback concerts.

Filming for the upcoming movie took place at the Staples Center, where Michael Jackson was rehearsing, and The Forum in Inglewood, California. It is said to also features interviews and 3D sequences, which were to be screened at his shows.
