Last night saw episode 12 air of the hugely popular vampire series “True Blood.” And as most of us already knew, this episode served as the season 2 finale. And according to wsj.com, some may say it was a rather disappointing end to what has been a great season.
There didn’t seem to be any big showdown and the cliffhanger appeared to be a bit lame and possibly predictable. Not only did they appear to have Maryann defeated quite early in the episode, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of Eric in this episode either.

He only appeared in one scene, when viewers learned that he has been ordering humans to sell vampire blood. And it looks like Maryann was using Sookie as bait, to lure Sam, who she wanted to sacrifice as a wedding gift for her new hubby.
The episode, finally ends with three semi-related threads, the first being Eggs confessing to Andy about being Maryann’s zombified killer. Sam then goes to see his adopted mother and Bill proposes to Sookie, but is then abducted.
