Harry Potter World: Universal Press Conference

Universal have issued a press conference regarding Harry Potter. Two years ago, J.K. Rowling’s wizard was made into a theme park ride at Universal Orlando Resort, Florida. And today the theme park held a press conference to discuss further elements of Harry Potter.

According to People.com, Draco Malfoy played by Tom Felton announced that Harry Potter world will open in spring of 2010. The attraction will cover 20 acres in Islands of Adventure at Universal; this is to include dining facilities, shops, a number of attractions, along with Hippogriff, the family-style roller coaster.

The centerpiece of the Harry Potter World will be a 15-story Hogwarts Castle, this will house a ride called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The ride helps bring to life elements from the books and movies. The creative team behind Universal have been working closely with Rowling and Warner Bros to get the design details perfect.
