For those of you who have seen the movie “Dirty Dancing,” you will probably remember the chemistry between the two co-stars, Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze, who sadly passed away yesterday, after a 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
The 1987 classic “Dirty Dancing,” was what shot both Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey into stardom. And according to people.com, Jennifer Grey and the movie’s choreographer Kenny Ortega have spoken out about their memories of the star.

Grey, who played Frances “Baby” Houseman in the movie, said that when she thinks of Patrick, she thinks of being in his arms, practicing the lift in the freezing lake. 49-year old Jennifer says that Swayze was a “real cowboy with a tender heart.”
In a statement, Ortega said that Patrick was a great human being, which he knew as a loving son, husband, brother and friend. He also said that Patrick loved life and had enthusiasm for everything he did. Our thoughts go out to Patrick’s family.
