It appears from recent reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have just added quarterback Michael Vick to the team’s 53-man roster, to allow him to practice with the team. But according to statesman.com, they released wide receiver Hank Baskett in the process.
Hank was apparently released, to make room for the controversial Michael Vick, who is eligible to play in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, on September 27th. Reports say that Vick begins his training with the Eagles today, September 16th.

Quarterback Michael Vick, who was signed up to the Eagles back in August, was apparently suspended for the first two regular-season games as a final league penalty, for his involvement in the dog-fighting ring, which he served time in prison for.
