Big Brother 11: Winning with strategizing not needed

There are those who thought that winning Big Brother 11 was all about contestants strategizing, but it is not needed in a show like this. There are a number of viewers, who think that Jordan did not deserve to win the show, so how did she manage to win so many viewers over?

BB 11 was very tiring this year, and we wonder if the show has now run its course, as the UK version has. That show will be ending next year, but fans hope that another network will take the show on. We hope that both versions of the show can start to find some normal people from the everyday public, and not the bunch of weirdoes that have been on our screen the last few seasons.

Big Brother 11: Winning with strategizing not needed

The Huffington Post has written a huge article on Big Brother 11, and have summed up that it is dumb luck that helped Jordan win the reality show. The article does go on a bit, but they do apologize, and explains that it covers “a full 6 hours of CBS airtime.”

I think the houseguests were as “normal” a bunch of people as 12 people can be. Some, like Chima, were just very unlikeable. I get it that being cooped up in the house with the only contact being each other can bring out personality traits or create extreme reactions that outside the house real life may never evoke.
I expect the formula for reality show success is lots of dramatic interaction, some beautiful people, some likeable, some we love to hate and then it comes down to one mis-step or the luck of the draw and the show ends with the favorite or the most hated winning. This leaves the viewer with strong emotions. Just what the producers want. I wanted Jeff to win. I think he deserved to win, but I like Jordan and she got votes we would have wanted to cast for Jeff.
The only thing I do not like about this show, is that the only way to win (unless you do it Jordan style) is to lie. Liars are winners, and yet the houseguests all act like it is a bad thing. Lying is the only way to win if you play the game.
It’s a good show. If someone doesn’t like the show just never tune back in.
    Peace out!
