Singer Thelma Houston, who was made famous from her 1977 hit “Don’t Leave Me This Way,” was one of the guests that appeared on last night’s season finale of “America’s Got Talent.” And according to losangelespublicrelations.com, she gave a great performance.
Thelma started her career back in 1969 and in early 1971, she signed with Motown. She then had six years of unsuccessful records, until 1977 when she scored a huge hit with “Don’t Leave Me This Way.” The same song won her a Grammy Award in 1978.

But Thelma Houston was just one of the guests that made a special appearance on last night’s finale. They also had Leona Lewis perform and fans got to see “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant Susan Boyle, perform in America for the very first time.
