There is no doubt that Roger Federer is now the greatest tennis player that ever lived, even Pete Sampras has admitted this. Although Federer did not take the win at the US Open this year, we were treated to what has to be the greatest shot ever.
If you watch the video below, you will witness this shot if you missed it. Federer chipped a return by Djokovic, who then returns with a big inside out forehand. Normally this shot would secure the point, but somehow, Federer managed to return with a backhand.

Roger then runs to the net to try to finish off with a drop shot, but the Serb managed to return his shot with a nice backhand lob right over his head. We all thought that that was the end, but somehow, Federer manages to run back to the baseline and with his back to the net, hits the ball between his legs and gave him the winner.
