Ricky Hatton respects Juan Manuel Márquez, backs Floyd Mayweather Jnr

It has been reported that Ricky Hatton has backed Floyd Mayweather to win, ahead of his clash with Juan Manuel Marquez tonight, which takes place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

As reported from TheTelegraph, Hatton believes that Mayweather will be too strong for Marquez, who has had to come up in weight to take the fight.

Many are talking about the amount of time that Mayweather has spent outside of the ring (since his win over Hatton), but Hatton himself thinks that it won’t be a factor on the night.

”I can’t see anything other than Mayweather winning”, Hatton stated. He also said that he has great respect for the Mexican Marquez, although that this may prove to be too tough a test for him.
