With the UFC 103 event about to take place tonight, some may say that it is time for the UFC, to make changes to the Pay-Per-View percentage contracts, for the main event fighters. You can take the last year of Anderson Silva’s career as an example.
According to bloodyelbow.com, after Silva signing a deal with a Pay-Per-View bonus, he headlined the UFC 90 event. He then got an awful payday, because the buy-rate was so poor. This just shows that the PPV percentage deals don’t really make sense for UFC.

Some say that there should be some sort of salary structure, which gives incentives to fighters, to fight all comers old and new. Many of the top stars in MMA won’t fight any young stars, because the PPV money is better against established fighters.
