As we mentioned earlier, one of the big surprises of the weigh-in, was that main eventer Vitor Belfort came in a quarter overweight at 196.25 lbs, compared to Rich Franklin who came in at a safe 195 lbs.
There was no problems for Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (226 lbs) and Junior dos Santos (236 lbs), nor any problems for Paul Daley (170 lbs), head of his highly anticipated bout with Martin Kampmann (169.5 lbs).
