Emmy Awards 2009 Nomination Recap

Today is when all the TV stars hard work is recognized at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. The Examiner has been giving us a nomination recap, which most comes as no surprise. We covered an article a few days back about the predictions for the comedy category.

The Examiner explains about how long the actual full Emmy Nomination 2009 list is, which is why we like to see them broken down into each category. This certainly makes it much easier to sort through. The categories include, Best Drama, Best Comedy, and Lead Actor and Actresses. Some of the programs that have been nominated include, Lost with five nominations, Mad Men with 16, Big Love has one and Breaking Bad has five. The Outstanding Lead Actress nomination will be a tough one, but Glenn Close looks to be the favorite. The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards will air on CBS today at 8:00 Eastern and 7:00 Central.
