Floyd Mayweather Wins: Manny Pacquiao Next

Last night saw the welcomed return of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the ring, in his 12-round fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. And although Mayweather managed to knock Marquez down in the second round, he just got back up and carried on the whole 12 rounds.

And according to mlive.com, in last night’s bout, Floyd just proved that he hasn’t lost it. So what is next for the champion? Well what could be next for Mayweather is a fight against Manny Pacquiao. That is if he survives his November fight against Miguel Cotto.

But last night’s fight wasn’t about going on to possibly fight Pacquiao, it was more about the fans seeing if 32-year old Mayweather, still had all his skills after a layoff of over 21 months. And many think that he certainly proved that he still has got them.

    Please give us boxing fans a break will you? Mayweather’s win agaisnt Marquez doesn’t proved anything. What he beat a much much smaller, older and lightweight in Marquez and suddenly he is the man? Floyd is the best cherry picker in boxing and no wonder why he still has ZERO loss…get real buddy and stop writing articles like this.

    Mayweather is the best and also Manny is the best but lets be honest the fight can go either way Manny got speed and fight a bit of olympic tyle, Mayweather is faster and has a good defence. of any of the two miss the target that means the other will be caught. Mayweather has a big chance to win
