Actress Glenn Close, who is maybe best known for role as the estranged stalker in the movie “Fatal Attraction,” has received many awards throughout her career. And at last night’s 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards, she added another to her collection.
According to The Associated Press, Close won the Emmy Award for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series, for her role as Patty Hewes in the FX show “Damages.” This is apparently the second year in a row that she has won the award, but her third career Emmy.

The 62 year old actress, who has also been in movies such as “101 Dalmatians” and “Mary Reilly,” has now received a total of three Tony Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, an Obie and three Emmy Awards.
